The Trafalgar Group (Trafalgar) is a specialty insurance Underwriting Management Company established in 2002.
Trafalgar's founder, Patrick Burke, started his insurance career in 1969 in the Lloyd's marketplace in London and moved to the USA in 1979 where he has represented Lloyd's and the London market continuously through various companies and agencies developing an almost unique relationship with Underwriters over several decades.
Along with a team of experienced personnel Patrick Burke has specialized in providing specialty contractual liability coverage to the automotive industry through both dealers and lenders.
Trafalgar's core mission statement is to custom design creative insurance solutions for the specific and individual needs of its clients using a combination of traditional insurance and alternative risk structures.
In the ever increasing competitive marketplace Trafalgar fully understands the need for discretion and confidentiality and prides itself on protecting the proprietary interests of both clients and Underwriters at all times thereby creating the most favorable environment for long term and mutually profitable relationships between clients and Underwriters.
Although most of Trafalgar's business is generated by personal referrals Trafalgar is a resource available through both intermediaries or "directly procured" by the client/insured.
